I didn't want to hear the words you were forced to say,

I ask myself, how can life end up this way?

You looked at me with great sorrow,

Knowing that we'll never see each other again; there won't be a tomorrow.

And you whispered into my ear good-bye....

The two words that caused me to fall down and cry.

Don't you see the tears that I shed?

Now that you're gone, my soul is dead.

Why did you leave? Why did you have to go?

Where are you now? I guess I'll never know.

Life has no meaning now that we're apart,

There's only me with my sad broken heart.

I was once alive but now I feel like stone,

It's all because you left, I can't live life alone.

I finally fall to the ground and saw the flashes of death,

A single tear rolled down my face as I drew my last breath.

I died heartbroken this very year,

It's all because you're gone and no longer here.
