Because girls like you don't often come my way

I first must apologize for rushing in the way I did

But when I fell for you, I just couldn't help it

I know that this may be too soon for you and me

But I'm not asking you out, that I want you to see

I just want you to know how I feel and than my feelings are true

I didn't mean for it to be this way but I really do like you

I can't expect you to feel the same way about me

So all I can do is only imagine how someday we

May end up together, but I'm getting too far ahead in the future

But I know that I could never hurt you and that is for sure

Because, as I've said before, you're the kind of girl that I can only dream about

And if you think that I wouldn't be true, you need not have any doubts

Because you're the only one that I think about now

All I do is think about the ways your sweet and how

Amazingly pretty you are. But because of this you are intimidating

And I try to forget about this and so patiently I am waiting

For the I can see you again because you brighten up my day no matter how bad

And I truthfully say that it hurts me deep inside whenever I see you sad

But I try my best to cheer you up, so i start by offering you a hug

And the things I'd do for you are so limitless that you couldn't put them in a jug

But I must slow down and remember you are in pain

And that if I had you, I would have everything to gain

Because you make me happy and make better my week

And, honestly, you're the girl that I've always seeked

But I ask you one little favor for I have nothing left to say

When you move on to bigger and better things, please remember me this way
